The National Debt Road Trip

by Joshua 23. May 2009 14:00

We drove a little over 3,000 miles to/from and around Florida as I mentioned in a previous post.  However, that trip hardly compares to the road trip that our Federal government has been doing since the early 1900’s and what Obama has said he plans to do with our national debt.

In fact, a very smart guy who writes for the Political Math Blog wrote this excellent post and made this video that really helps us see what kind of trouble we are in.  You can find the blog post here and the video below:

I don’t want to be Chicken Little and say that the sky is falling but really… this doesn’t look good at all.

I can't add anything to that, Josh. It speaks, sadly, for itself.

Hope? Change? Pretty soon we'll be hopin' for a miracle, and a huge change the first Tuesday of November of 2012.

Good stuff.

LOL, well put!  Most people think its a waiting game and say, "Oh well, in 4 years we can vote him out and hopefully the next guy will doing something better."  That's NOT the way to be.  People need to get active, get out there, do something about it before he can do anymore damage.

Obama has NO power in the economy except through his minions in Congress.  We can vote all of them out in less than 2 years!  I encourage everyone to READ, STUDY, & CARE about our economics and political policy and then go out and vote LIBERTARIAN!

Thanks for the comment Jeff.

Ever been on a plane traveling 300 MPH while it was on fire with the engines failing?  Me neither, but I would imagine it would feel very much like it does now with our economy representing the place and the problems representing our current government (and our government over the last 100 years or so).
